Settings → Screen Time → Turn On Screen Time

Screen Time passcode set

Own code that only parents know (not the device code!)

Downtime configured

E.g. 8:00 PM–7:00 AM no apps except phone

App limits set

Daily limits for social media, games, entertainment

Content restrictions activated

Age ratings for apps, movies, music, web content

App installation restricted

New apps only with parental approval

Family location sharing activated

Find My → Share location with family

🌐 Router / Home Network

Router password changed

Default password replaced with secure own password

WiFi password secure

At least 12 characters, not guessable

Router parental controls activated

Time profiles and content filters for children's devices

Guest WiFi for visitors

Separate network without access to home devices

🔐 Accounts & Passwords

Password manager set up

iCloud Keychain, 1Password or Roboform

2-factor authentication activated

For Apple ID, Google, email and important accounts

Children's accounts with Family Sharing

Own Apple ID for children under parental management

Children's passwords known

Saved in family password manager

Tipp: Überprüfe diese Einstellungen alle 3–6 Monate. Kinder werden älter, Bedürfnisse ändern sich und manchmal werden Einstellungen versehentlich geändert.
